UbrainTV seeks to promote technology and has keenly sought out leading Japanese green technology with the potential to solve environmental and energy problems. In partnership with the Isle of Man Government and Chamber of Commerce, the inaugural UbrainTV Energy Tech Awards in the Isle of Man 2011 took place on Monday 10th October 2011, recognizing some of the best cleantech from Japan.
Before a crowd of distinguished guests from the UK, the Netherlands and Japan, Revo International was presented the first Isle of Man Cup - Kyoto Ashida Green Future Award for technology that has recently been brought to market with the potential to lead its industry towards greater sustainability. North Sea Group received a Partner Award for its role in supporting the technology's expansion into Europe.
Micro Energy and the Municipal Government of Naka were presented the first Isle of Man Cup - Kyoto Ashida Project Award in recognition of an innovative environmental project utilizing innovative technology in engaging a local community in pursuit of sustainability. The Prefectural Government of Tokushima also received a Partner award for its pivotal role in making this sustainability project happen.
